Navigate Your Future Healthcare with Confidence

At Haley’s Choice

We believe that no one should feel unprepared when it comes to their healthcare decisions.

Our mission is to provide young adults and couples with the knowledge, tools, and resources to confidently plan for their future. Whether that means creating a living will, understanding their rights, or considering organ donation.

Through education and advocacy, we empower individuals to make choices that honor their values, ensuring their voices are heard when it matters most.

Haley’s Mission

Haley’s Choice was founded in memory of our inspiration, Haley Reber, who passed away unexpectedly in 2024 from an undiagnosed case of Moyamoya disease, just shy of her 24th birthday. Without an advance directive in place, difficult decisions were left to her family, leading to heartbreaking disagreements about her transition to end-of-life care.

Her passing was a painful reminder of how essential it is to make our wishes known before the unexpected happens.

Haley dedicated her life to helping others, driven by a deep commitment to ensuring that no one felt alone or unheard in their healthcare journey. She was well on her way to achieving that goal — becoming a certified pharmacy technician in less than a year while working full-time and preparing to return to nursing school.

Her story is why we are here. Haley’s Choice exists to educate and empower patients, individuals, couples & families so that they can make informed decisions about their future care. Our mission is to provide clear, accessible resources on living wills & advance directives, organ donation and Moyamoya disease, to ensure that every person’s voice is heard when it matters most. In her honor, we have created this space to help others navigate these crucial conversations with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
